Hello, my name is Lance Smith, founder of Align Accounting and Consulting in Spokane, WA. I help individuals and small businesses with bookkeeping, accounting, advisory, and tax services.

I’ve spent over 5 years in accounting and tax, plus 2 years in auditing, working with clients in many different industries. That variety has taught me that every business has its own challenges, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach. I like digging in and understanding how each client operates, then finding practical solutions that make their financial side easier to manage.

I started Align Accounting because I know how stressful and confusing finances can feel when you’re trying to do it all yourself. My goal is to give you clarity around your numbers and peace of mind knowing you can hand things off to someone you can count on. Accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail are non-negotiables for me, as well as building real trust with the people I come to work with.
